Unnamed Hobgoblin Ranger for my friend Steve

I'm going to start DMing a game for my wife and our good friends Steve and Stephanie.

Steve's not very experienced with making characters and neither is Steph, so they asked me to make their level 15 characters for them.  My wife also has very little free time to make characters, especially right now since she just changed jobs at her work and has to make tons of MeepleSoaps as rewards for backers of our Kickstarter.

So, in these next few blog entries, I'm going to be sharing their characters with you!  I might make changes to the characters after I show each of them theirs, and if I do I'll post another entry and explain what changes have been made and why.

I hope you enjoy Steve's Hobgoblin Ranger, who specializes in Crossbows.

Chaotic & Inverse Channeling Feats I've made

Hey everyone!  Sorry I have not posted an NPC lately.   As I said my last post, I've been having terrible migraines lately, so it's been very difficult to get onto the computer.  When I get a migraine, I get horribly light-sensitive (like a Drow).  So instead of posting an NPC that I'd just throw together without putting much thought into him or her, I think I'll share two feats I came up with for clerics with the Luck or Chaos domains (and their subdomains) to use.

Please let me know what you think.  I feel they would add some fun flavor to these types of characters.  :)

No post today

I'm sorry, I'm not able to post today due to light sensitivity from a migraine.  Hopefully, I'll be feeling better tomorrow and give you guys an update, even if it's just a simple character.

Thanks for understanding!

Graa

I'm having another bout of insomnia, so I made a quick character.  Tonight's NPC is Graa, a Goblin Witch.

Living in with a Goblin tribe without a Cleric, Graa fills that role by using the Hedge Witch archetype which enhances her healing abilities.  Her familiar also uses the Healing patron spells and she has selected many healing spells.

Sarik Ur'ten

Since I made Jorrik the Darklands dwelling Dwarf yesterday, I thought I'd make an adversary for a party to encounter while traveling with him.  So today, I present Sarik Ur'ten, a Drow cleric of Mazmezz, the Demon Lord of Spiders, Vermin and Bindings and Pathfinder equivalent to Lolth who is owned by Wizards of the Coast.  I guess Paizo did not secure licensing for Lolth, so they had to come up with a new patron deity for the Drow to worship.

Sarik Ur'ten is a cunning villain with the Demonic Apostle archetype.  The archetype requires the cleric to select only the Chaos, Evil, or Demon domain.  I've opted to give her Evil has her domain choice and the Poison variant channeling option.

Jorrik of the Stonehammer Clan

This afternoon I'll share Jorrik of the Stonehammer Clan, a Dwarf Barbarian who lives with his tribe - The Stonehammer Clan - in The Darklands.  Jorrik spent much of his youth exploring these treacherous cavern with other members of his tribe, which gave him a vast knowledge of the unending subterranean passageways and the creatures (intelligent and unintelligent alike) that dwell within.

Lelouch vi Britannia for DarthPinkHippo

I am having terrible insomnia so I decided to make another NPC tonight.

DarthPinkHippo in the Paizo Pathfinder Forums requested I make a Lelouch vi Britannia from Code Geass for him.  Now, I've never seen the anime, but after reading the Wiki, I think a good idea about the character.

Hippo requested that Lelouch be a frail Elf Witch, which I was happy to oblige.  To that end, I gave him two flaws from Unearthed Arcana (a book from WOTC for DND 3.5): Frail and Feeble.   He's a huge weakling, but he more than makes up for this shortcoming with his other abilities.  I know this goes against the rules I've made for character creation, however, if I was DMing this character I would allow those flaws since they fit the character concept.
